Invisalign
Fall Invisi-Love
We make no secret of our love for Invisalign aligners here at Chelsea Dental Clinic.
We think its versatility, discreet looks and convenient removability make it one of the best orthodontic solutions around.
And Invisalign loves us too. They’ve cemented our friendship by naming us a diamond Invisalign provider – an award given only to only the UK’s very best clinics.
That’s not the only reason why we’re the area’s top choice for treatment. Our Dr Rhona Eskander is a global hey opinion leader for Invisalign and often shares her wisdom on the international lecture circuit.
If you’re thinking about joining millions of happy Invisalign patients across the globe, you couldn’t be in better hands.

SHHH…STRAIGHTEN IN SECRET
WITH INVISALIGN
When it comes to why Invisalign rocks, we could talk forever. Here are just a few of the things we love most.
HARD-TO-SPOT STRAIGTHENING
Okay, so Invisalign aligners aren’t quite invisible. But they’re the closest it’s possible to get without disappearing completely. Compared to steel brackets and wires, Invisalign is the clear winner where looks are concerned.
TAKE A SNEAK PEEK
We love it when a plan comes together. Our 3D imaging software lets us plan your treatment right down to the last millimetre of movement. And we can even show a preview of your new smile before getting started.
MAKE LIFE EASY
For best results, we recommend you wear Invisalign aligners for at least 20 hours each day. You can take them out when eating or brushing your teeth. You can also remove Invisalign whenever meetings, events and romance call.
Invisalign FAQs
How is Invisalign different from traditional braces?
Invisalign is a world apart from the traditional train-track braces you’ve probably seen before. Conventional braces use fixed brackets and wires to exert their straightening pressure, but Invisalign achieves the same effect using a barely-visible removable appliance made from clear plastic.
What’s the recommended daily wear?
For best results, wear your aligners for 22 hours every day. This gives you just enough time to eat, brush and floss throughout the day.
Can I remove Invisalign for important events?
Yes. But with Invisalign, every hour counts and you shouldn’t remove them regularly. We’d recommend keeping your aligner in whenever you can. Plus, they’re so discreet that most people won’t even notice.
Can Invisalign treat complex orthodontic issues?
Invisalign is fantastic for treating a whole range of orthodontic issues. In some cases, it may be better to opt for conventional fixed braces, especially for complex problems with hind teeth.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Treatment with Chelsea Dental Clinic starts at just £4500 – that’s around the same cost as conventional fixed braces. Factors like treatment time and case complexity could affect the final price tag. We’ll give you a full rundown of costs before you start treatment and we can also let you know about monthly payment plans and finance options to help you spread the cost of treatment.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Each case is different. The average treatment time is 9-15 months, but some cases can take up to two years.
Is Invisalign faster than fixed braces?
The Invisalign process is usually a little slower than treatment with fixed braces.
How often do I need to attend Invisalign appointments?
We’ll want to check in around every 4-6 weeks to hand you your replacement aligner and check everything is going to plan.
Is it painful?
Some patients tell us their Invisalign aligner is a little uncomfortable during the first few days of treatment but it usually subsides quickly. Day-to-day wear is generally more comfortable than fixed braces.

INVISALIGN FROM CHELSEA DENTAL CLINIC
Achieving your perfect smile with Invisalign is a piece of cake from start to finish. Here’s what you expect from treatment with Chelsea Dental Clinic.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
We’ll start by building up a picture of your smile. We no longer use denial putty for this. We use a digital iTero scanner instead of dental putty. It’s miles more comfortable and the hi-tech scanner is super accurate.
ALIGNER PRODUCTION
We’ll hand over your scanned images to the guys and girls at Invisalign’s UK laboratory to begin production on your aligners. We’ll receive your first aligner in a week or two and you’ll receive from 12-48 aligners over the full course of treatment.
THE TRY-ON
When we receive your first aligner, it’s time to revisit Chelsea Dental Clinic to try it on for size. At your first appointment, we’ll make sure everything fits okay and let you know how to keep it in tip-top condition.
NOW STRAIGTHEN UP
You should wear your aligner for 22 hours every day, removing it only when you brush your teeth and eat. In just a few weeks, you’ll feel Invisalign’s gentle straightening pressure working its magic. You’ll receive a replacement aligner every few weeks and we’ll check in regularly to keep your treatment on track.
MEET YOUR NEW SMILE
Treatment with Invisalign takes from 9-15 months. We think you’ll love your new look, and to help keep your smile looking fantastic well into the future, we’ll provide you with night time retainers to wear while you sleep.
