Marisa Scannell

Originally from Watford, Marissa began her journey in dentistry as a trainee dental nurse in 2013, steadily working her way up in the field. She graduated from Sheffield University as a Dental Therapist in 2018 and has since been committed to advancing her expertise. In 2024, she completed the first year of an MSc in Advanced Periodontal Practice, earning a PGCert, and is now pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.

Beyond her clinical work, Marissa is deeply involved in the dental community. She actively organizes networking events for dental hygienists and therapists in London, fostering professional growth and collaboration within the industry.

Outside of dentistry, she is passionate about health and fitness, dedicating herself to strength training 4-5 times a week. She also has a keen interest in psychology, particularly psychoanalysis, and enjoys exploring various aspects of general well-being. Her holistic approach to both her professional and personal life reflects her dedication to continuous growth and self-improvement.
